Sangrila Nepal is a manufacturing and distribution company established in 2004 to encourage the traditional arts and crafts of the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal. We work to promote the local and export markets for a variety of handmade, fine quality articles. Our challenge is to offer a platform to bring these attractive and unique products into an expanding global marketplace, while at the same time generating a means of support for low-income families and micro-entrepreneurs in the rural and urban areas of the country. Our mission is to not only improve the economic status of the people of Nepal, but to support and preserve the skills which have been passed down from generation to generation.

Cordula Sturm Dahal has traveled and lived in over 30 countries, where she has collected and studied the many diverse forms of traditional jewelry and handicrafts produced by various ethnic groups. She designs and owns Sangrila Nepal along with Bhim Bahadur Dahal, who is an accomplished classical Kathak dancer, choreographer, and musician, and the Director of the Nepal Dance School, www.nepaldanceschool.com. The Dahals work together through SN and NDS to promote the continuity of traditional Himalayan crafts and culture. They share a deep love of the creative arts, and live in the U.S. and Nepal.
